Rakesh Pathak is a visiting assistant professor at Vanderbilt University; he joined in August 2024. He will serve in this position until July 2025 as an ICMR-DHR Fellow. During this time, he aims to learn advanced techniques for immunotherapeutic drug design and novel drug delivery systems, evaluating their efficacy in both in vitro and in vivo settings. Rakesh is a permanent faculty member in the Department of Chemical Sciences at IISER Berhampur in Odisha, India. His research bridges synthetic chemistry, biology, and nanotechnology, focusing on developing innovative drug-delivery tools within the framework of traditional bioinorganic chemistry.
