Azeeza Syeda

Born in India and raised in Dallas, TX, Azeeza Syeda is an undergraduate student majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society at Vanderbilt University with an expected graduation term of Spring 2027. She joined the lab in January 2025 and is currently working under Anya Varanko on projects related to immune modulation and regulatory T cell reprogramming. After graduation, Azeeza plans to pursue an MD/PhD to combine her interests in research and clinical care. Outside of the lab, she enjoys exploring Nashville, reading fiction, and binge-watching movies and TV shows.
