Jieon Ki is an undergraduate Chemical Engineering student at Vanderbilt University originally from Atlanta, GA. She joined the lab in October 2024 and is expected to graduate in 2027. She is currently working with Jack Loken to synthesize polymers of different sizes, valencies, and functional groups to enhance efficacy and functionality of engineered cells. In the future, she hopes to join the pharmaceutical industry, primarily focusing on research and development. Outside of lab, she enjoys filling her Beli, hanging out with friends, and cuddling with her cat Milo.
