Dawn Oh

Born in Iowa and raised in South Korea, Dawn Oh is a Chemical Engineering undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University with an expected graduation term of Spring 2027. Dawn joined the lab in January 2025 and is working with Neil Chada on developing multimeric albumin-binding proteins to enhance the half-life of STING agonists to engineer sustained tumor cell targeting in cancer treatments. After graduation, Dawn plans to pursue a master’s degree, potentially followed by a PhD, in Chemical Engineering, with the hopes of studying abroad in Sweden. Outside of the lab, Dawn enjoys playing video games, exploring the coffee scene in Nashville, and collecting free Vanderbilt stress balls at Rand.
