Alex Lee

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Alex is an undergraduate student (’26) majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. She joined the lab in January 2024 and is working with Neil to optimize the conjugation of STING agonists to proteins to develop nanobody-drug conjugates that target solid tumors. After graduation, she plans to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on immunotherapies and biomaterials. At Vanderbilt, Alex plays the violin in the Commodore Orchestra and is an active member of the Vanderbilt Emergency Medical Society. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, spending time with friends and family, and rating restaurants on Beli.
